Good Morning Sistahs!
Let me start of the day by saying, "I finally got my grade for the first of my classes!" Woo Hoo! It was seriously killin' me. I worked my booty off, and it has certainly paid off. My grade rhymes with "Schmay-Schminus." So my hubby took me to DQ and treated me to a Cherry Dip Cone. (I'm so easy aren't I?) Well, not easy....but....you know what I mean. LOL
I know you're probably getting SICK of seeing this layout, but I love it, and I promise I'll try not to post another one like it for a while but....here she blows....
I know the chicks look a little blurry, but they aren't in real life. Go figure. I used Lemon Tart and Summer Sunrise from PTI. (Although the Summer Sunrise looks more like Pure Poppy in this photo. HMPH!) Anyway, I absolutely LOVE the chick in Kitchen Sink's 3-Step Hey Chick! set and I resisted the urge to make them all different colors. (Even though I think they're cute when they're green, blue, and purple.) I thought about entering this one into the Kitchen Sink contest, but I'm not sure right now. I'm going to have to sleep on it.
As much as I'd love to babble, babble, babble about all the happenings in my world, I know you just come and visit me for the cards. *wink
So I'll babble tomorrow. I'm KIDDING!
Hope all is well with da sistahs!
Happy Stampin'

Good morning. That card is really bright for early morning and probably works well for morning people. I like how you were creative witht he different placements of the chicks. Very nice card and as long as it gets changed up, a classic layout like that remains classic - No worries.

you should try the chicks in different colors -- when I was growing up you could buy "Easter Biddes" which were live chicks dyed different colors -- probably way against all laws these days -- congrats on your excellent grade!
