Good Morning Sistahs!
By now you have to know how much I just love Mondays! Especially Mondays that involve ink and paypah! For today's creation I went to Splitcoast and tried out the Crimped Envelope Pocket Card Tutorial. What do you think?
I decided to use the 3-Step Butterflies as my main image again because I just can't get enough of this set! I also used the grass from my other fave: 3-Step Honey Bunny, and the sentiment is from Never a Loss 4 Words.
Here's a better view of just the envelope:
You know how I love my Glossy Accents, so of course the butterflies are Glossied Up! (Hard to see, but trust me it's there.)
Rather than just making it a card, I decided to make it a gift card holder. (What better gift than a gift card to Scrapbook Destination?) I covered the tabs that are holding the gift card in place with two extra butterflies. (And you know I had to bring the grass to the inside.)
Finally, here's a better angle of the butterflies which are attached to the envelope with Glossy Accents. You can see how I folded up their wings to give a little added dimension.
Aren't these butterflies fab?!?!
Okay, so now that I've shared a bajillion views of this card with you, make sure you blop on over and check out even more inspirational projects from the FABULOUSLY TALENTED Sink Crew!
Be sure to come back next week, Lynn has a great challenge in store for all of us!
Happy Stampin'
GMTA! I used butterflies, too!
This is fabulous, Angela! I love the bright, springy colors, and how you added the butterflies inside, too!

Fabulous gift presentation (Scrapbook Destination sounds like a great place)! I love how you folded the wings on the butterflies--they look like they're ready to fly off the paper.

I know this says "Many Thanks" but we can be honest....it's my birthday present in disguise huh. Nice try, but I am way too "Clever" for that one my friend.
