Good Morning Sistahs!
I have been wicked busy, and I have so fun stuff to share with you this week. Exciting stuff is brewin'! But first...it's MONDAY! Not just any Monday...Kitchen Sink Monday! Woo Hoo! And not just ANY Kitchen Sink Monday, but Kitchen Sink Crew Challenge Monday! Our very own Lynn came up with a fabulous challenge for us.
Lynn's Challenge: Use your computer to generate a favorite quote, witty saying, or scripture and then use your Kitchen Sink Stamps to turn it into a wonderful bit of refrigerator art! Just to keep it interesting, the size should be no larger than 4" x 4" but can be any shape you choose as long as it fits into a 4" x 4" space on your refrigerator.
First of all, Lynn is crazy if she thinks I have an empty 4" x 4" space on my refrigerator. *giggle However, I found this challenge to be INCREDIBLY fun! So fun in fact, that I just might have to clear some space for some magnets.
This first magnet is one that I'm sure my sistah Nicole can relate to:
I had so much fun playing with this fabulous set and it went perfectly with my saying. All the images came from the 3-Step School Days set. I have played with the apple before, but this was the first time I played with the books and ruler. I love the warm hues on this project.
Now, I had so much fun making the first one, I just HAD to make a second one. This is a saying I saw on a t-shirt:
It's a little hard to read, but it says: Muffins are just ugly cupcakes! I knew I just had to make a card using this saying, so I pulled out my Happy Birthday Cupcake set and got to work. You know how I love glittah, so I had to add it so the cupcake would extra purdy. I also added my other fave, Glossy Accents, to the cupcake wrapper. Do ya think any muffins are jealous? *wink
Now it's time to go check out what the rest of the amazingly talented Kitchen Sink Crew created for your inspiration.
Now sistahs...you have to play along with us! I'm tellin' you, this challenge was so fun! If you need a little help visit Lynn's Blog because she created a great tutorial for these fun magnet projects! We want to see all the fun you had making a magnet so please make sure you post your creations to Paper Craft Planet so we can all enjoy!
Thanks for a super fun challenge Lynn!
Happy Stampin'
